Founder & Principal Designer

Lindsey founded Lindsey Mathias Design in 2021 after an accomplished career in commercial interiors with firms including Gensler and SHM Architects. Known for creating bespoke spaces with architectural soul, she draws inspiration from thoughtful design, layered textures, and interiors that feel polished yet genuinely lived in. She leads the studio with creativity, collaboration, and an instinct for making spaces feel deeply personal. Outside the studio, she’s usually adventuring with her family, strolling harbor towns, practicing yoga, walking her Golden Retriever, or sampling different wines, because a well-balanced composition isn’t limited to interiors.

Known for her thoughtful eye and strong execution, she especially loves the final styling layer, that finishing touch that makes a home feel truly alive. Outside work, she’s busy keeping up with her kiddos, Greer and Beau, Labrador Finley, planning warm-weather escapes, fitting in Pilates, listening to true crime podcasts, cheering on OU football, and debating whether the evening calls for a margarita or red wine.

With a finance background, an exceptional eye for organization, and a very real appreciation for a great spreadsheet, she brings steady structure to every project. Outside work, she’s spending time with family, cheering on LSU football, playing mahjong, and keeping up with Roux and Georgia, her energetic four-legged companions.

With 26 years spanning design, marketing, and project management, Kelsey brings thoughtful perspective, creative intuition, and a sharp eye to every project. Known for her collaborative approach and attention to detail, she creates spaces that feel elevated while keeping the process approachable and well executed. Outside of work, most days revolve around family & friends, lots of kids sports, wrangling her dog Frank, and a little tennis, fashion, and design inspiration mixed in.
